The Open ESS stake
Held by kind permission of the Duke of Westminster at Abbeystead Estate. Our thanks to head keeper Tony Barrows and his team for providing a brilliant day for competitors wishing to qualify their dogs for the championships.
The day started off with rain, but cleared as the day went on, but spirits weren't dampened, and everyone had a great day, with each dog having ample opportunity to show their skills to prove them selves. The judges Will Clulee and Roger Shepherd with much experience and knowledge between them announced trial over at 1pm, and we made our way back to the newly refurbished facility where we gratefully enjoyed a buffet provided by Sharon Harding and the presentations were made.
