Novice AV Spaniel at Abbeystead Estate Dec 2014
Absolutely fantastic trial at Abbeystead today! Plenty of birds and rabbits, guns on top form! The ground was as per the photo, same all the way through. Huge thanks to our hosts, tony and Kim Barrow, for yet another brilliant trial! To our judges Malcolm Taylor and Paul Johnson our gratitude for giving up their day to look at the dogs. The only unwelcome occurrence was the very poor scenting conditions (the science of scent baffles me!) that resulted in only 2 dogs surviving the trial. The sportsmanship was admirable tho, and the full card was there to congratulate the winner and to thank our hosts.
